The First Campus Immersion Day of Keele University Greece!
The first Campus Immersion Day of Keele University Greece was successfully completed with great enthusiasm and active participation, marking the start of the new academic year for the newly accredited programmes of study in Psychology with Neuroscience, Bioengineering, Investigative Forensic Science, and English Literature.
During the official welcome session, addresses were delivered by Professor Odysseas Zoras, Vice-Chancellor of Keele University Greece, and Mark Ormerod OBE, Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost of Keele University UK.
The event was attended by the entire senior leadership team of the University, including the Chair of the Board of Directors, Dr Christina Paraskevopoulou; the Chair of the Academic Council, Professor Konstantinos Arkoumanis; and the Deans of the Schools of Medicine and Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Law:
Mr Konstantinos Simopoulos, Emeritus Professor of Surgery at Democritus University of Thrace;
Professor Ismini Kriari, Emeritus Professor at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences; and
Professor Aristotelis Charalambakis, Emeritus Professor of Criminal Law at Democritus University of Thrace.
Students were informed about the academic structure and study experience at Keele University Greece, as well as the range of student support services available to them. At the same time, they had the opportunity to explore the University’s modern facilities and laboratories at the Athens campus on Ippokratous Street.
