Legal Entities of University Education (ULEs) are the official institutional designation for non-state, non-profit universities operating in Greece as branches of international universities.
Keele University is among the first institutions licensed to operate under this framework, offering degrees awarded directly by Keele University in the United Kingdom, with full academic and professional recognition in Greece. This means that our graduates enjoy the same professional rights as graduates of public universities, both in the private and the public sector.

  • Study Environment: Offers programmes of study in both Greek and English and welcomes both Greek and international students, providing an international academic network and personalized student support.
  • Modern Infrastructure: Invests in cutting-edge technologies and laboratories designed to meet the evolving needs of the global job market.
  • Research and Innovation: Academic teaching and research activity operate in close synergy with the parent university, with a strong and consistent emphasis on knowledge production and scientific excellence.
  • Programmes of Study: Offers modern and innovative programmes with an interdisciplinary approach, designed according to international standards and emphasizing the meaningful integration of theory and practice in pioneering fields of study introduced in Greece for the first time.

  1. Minimum Entry Requirement:
This is the mandatory academic requirement for enrolment in any Non-State University Legal Entity. Applicants must have participated in the Panhellenic Examinations and achieved a score equal to or higher than the threshold set by law (80% of the national average score of all candidates).
  2. High School Leaving Certificate:
A secondary education qualification from a Greek General or Vocational Lyceum or an equivalent international qualification (e.g., International Baccalaureate, A-Levels).
  3. Personal Interview & Personal Statement:
Beyond academic performance, we aim to understand each applicant’s personality, motivations and professional aspirations

Important Note:
Achieving the Minimum Entry Requirement (EBE) is a legal prerequisite for completing enrolment, in addition to holding a recognised High School Leaving Certificate.

Detailed admission requirements for each programme are available on the respective programme page under the section “Entry Requirements.”
