The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)* has been designed to deepen students’ knowledge and strengthen their skills in the operation and management of organisations. The programme combines advanced theoretical approaches with the development of practical capabilities, placing emphasis on the critical understanding and application of knowledge in complex and dynamic business environments. 

Through a demanding and applied learning experience, students develop advanced analytical abilities, strategic thinking skills, and evidence-based decision-making capabilities, enhancing their ability to manage the complexity and change that characterise contemporary business reality. Programme Description

The MBA programme offers a comprehensive and coherent framework of advanced knowledge in business management, covering core areas such as strategic management, leadership, business operations, and human resource management. Particular emphasis is placed on developing a critical understanding of how organisations create and sustain competitive advantage in complex and dynamic business environments.

The learning experience is based on a combination of lectures, seminars, and applied activities, strengthening the connection between theory and professional practice. Students develop advanced analytical skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and evidence-based decision-making abilities through the use of data and contemporary digital technologies.

Semester 1

  • Organisational Strategy in a Dynamic World
    This module includes: theories and approaches to strategic management, strategic thinking and decision-making, analysis of the competitive environment, strategic flexibility and adaptation, management of uncertainty and complexity, development and implementation of strategies in dynamic environments.
  • People, Work and Organisations
    This module includes: the role of management in organisations, organisational behaviour, organisational structures and forms of governance, employment relations and legal issues, high-performance teams and performance culture, impact of the organisational environment on managerial decision-making.
  • Creating Sustainable Value Through Operations
    This module includes: operations and supply chain management, process design and management, sustainable development and the “triple bottom line” (people, planet, profit), optimisation of operations, management of resources and efficiency, linking operations with strategic value.
  • Strategic Marketing in a Global Environment
    This module includes: strategic marketing planning, market analysis and consumer behaviour, market selection and targeting, development of competitive advantage, global business environment, evaluation of marketing strategies, and decision-making.
  • Financial Decision-Making
    This module includes: core principles of financial management, analysis of financial and non-financial data, evaluation of investment decisions, financial tools and techniques, strategic use of financial information, decision-making in organisational contexts.

Semester 2

  • Research Methods

    This module includes: design of research projects, quantitative and qualitative methods, epistemological approaches, data collection and analysis, ethical issues in research, development of research proposals, and application of research tools to real business problems.

  • Digital Transformation and Digital Organisation

    This module includes: digital strategy and transformation, information systems and data, disruptive technologies and business models, analysis and use of data, digitisation of processes, impact of technology on organisational functioning and competitiveness.

  • Leadership in a Complex World

    This module includes: contemporary leadership theories, leadership under conditions of complexity and change, organisational culture, management of power and politics, ethics and sustainability in leadership, development of leadership skills, and decision-making.

  • Creativity, Innovation and Quality

    This module includes: creative thinking and problem-solving, innovation and idea development, quality management, sustainable production and consumption, improvement of products and processes, creation of value, and competitive advantage.

  • Human Resource Management

    This module includes: strategic human resource management, HRM practices, talent and performance management, organisational development, contemporary HRM challenges, and alignment of HRM with business strategy.

Semester 3

  • Project
    This module includes: design and implementation of independent research, analysis of real managerial problems, application of theory in a professional context, data collection and interpretation, development of evidence-based recommendations, writing and presentation of research work.
